NW Freedom Riders Membership

Membership Requirements

To become a member, one must:

  • be 18 years of age or older with an interest in group riding
  • have a valid motorcycle endorsement on their license
  • ride a street legal motorcycle of at least 250cc, capable of highway speeds
  • abide by the bylaws of the NWFRMC
  • operate their Motorcycle within local county and state laws
  • be sponsored by a NWFRMC member
  • attend three meetings and two rides with NWFRMC
    (sponsor and two other members required to count toward club rides)
  • be voted into membership by club members¹

Membership Application

Individuals seeking membership must complete the Membership Application Form. The submitted form is sent to the NWFRMC Secretary and reviewed by the Officers (President, Vice President, etc…) for consideration. Upon completion of all Membership Requirements the Club Officers will present individual as "New Member" to be voted in at the next meeting.

Prospective Members

There will be an evaluation period for prospective members in order to allow time for the new member(s), as well as the NWFRMC, to determine mutual compatibility. During this time prospective members will have an oppourtunity to ride with several existing members and to interact with the club during club functions and meetings.

Dues

There are no yearly dues at this time. (subject to change by club vote)

There is a one-time initiation fee of $25 which includes a membership packet and a small patch. This fee is to be collected at the time of acceptance into the club. A member is required to purchase a large back patch within 60 days of accepted membership.

NWFRMC reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone that does not meet membership requirements.

Members and prospective members acknowledge that he/she will not hold the NWFRMC, its Officers or membership liable for any negligence, personal injury or property damages while participating in NWFRMC functions or rides. Members and prospective members participate at his/her own risk. All full members are encouraged to attend club meetings & are granted voting rights.
